About Us

Over the years I've become known for my headwraps, but what once was a personal style staple grew to be much more, and with so many meanings. Textiles and accessories are long time passions of mine and it shows in the things I study, make, buy, sell and photograph. I've always believed that with the right headwrap, earrings, sunglasses and lipstick we can make a fashion statement that speaks to our culture all the way to the Motherland and back. That connection is what drives me.

I find beauty and joy in our unity. I love complimenting my sisters for being bold and wise enough to embrace their natural beauty. Afterall, these silent declarations move our culture forward one fashion choice at a time.

Unity starts at home. Simply showing reverence to my husband by covering my head when we pray or read the Holy Scriptures, is an every day reminder of the agreement we made to uplift and support one another for better or worse. Unity is our heritage.

It doesn't stop with us. As we work hard to teach little girls to hold their heads high in confidence, and to love themselves from the crown of their head, to the soles of their feet, we know unity is only a beginning.
